pray for lantu.

Lantu was the first arrival to EGCH.  She came nearly blind, unable to walk, born with a heart condition.  And--in many ways--she personifies EGCH.

Her several ailments, led others to believe that she wasn't worth "the investment".  Now--four years later--she has outlived any human expectation.  She walks, can see, and speaks three different languages fluently.  In spite of living beyond expectation, she now lays in ICU fighting for her precious life.  Her present condition involves a heart infection, fluid in her lungs, and rapidly decreasing weight.

Any love that we have for her pales in comparison to Jesus'.  And we are ever-grateful to be chosen to be a reflection of His love to her.  She now knows Him as her personal Lord and Savior.  She belongs to Him.

We have experienced an outpouring of peace, grace, and love only found in Christ.  The Body of Christ has demonstrated the life of Christ.  I've recently been reminded of the paralytic in Mark 2.  For those who have joined us in praying for Lantu, you have been one of those friends who were like-minded in knowing and believing that Jesus was the only one who can touch their helpless friend.  Those friends were nameless.  And I'm sure there are many we have never met--that are "nameless"--that are acting in the same manner.  Let's continue to bring her to Jesus... We ask you to join us in praying for precious Lantu.  Praying for complete healing--knowing He is able.  Praying for His will--because (though we don't always understand it) it is perfect.  Praying for wisdom--knowing He gives it.
