March Update: The Space Between

Happy Resurrection Day (Easter)! Tis the season we remember/celebrate Jesus' death and resurrection... standing alone throughout all history as the only Way, Truth, and Life... He is our Hope that we would forever be with Him... so very thank-full.

Happy [insert all of the holidays that have passed]!
Since our last update we've said "goodbye" to Hungary, and preparing for our "hello" to Ethiopia.

Jude turning 2 (already)

In "the space between"... it has been fun visiting our family and friends in California and Colorado. There have been many opportunities to share what the Lord's doing through Argaw and Rachel, and the ministry in Ethiopia.  This time has also given us some sweet opportunities to share the Gospel with people--many are those we have close relationships with.  [insert smile here]
...this has made our trip that much more worthwhile.  In various ways, we have been encouraged by so many, and are extremely thankful for the time spent (even moments) with people in this season.

With the help of various people and resources we are: navigating through the visa process, loaded up with immunizations, and beginning the pre-packing stages.  We are hoping to receive the last of our authenticated documents next week, so we can apply for our visas shortly after... buy tickets... and so forth.  The Lord knows...

Prayer Requests

Please pray...

• for our lives to remain focused on Jesus in it all...
• for the remainder of the visa paperwork to go through, and that our request for a two-year visa would be approved...
• for wisdom in our remaining time with others, that by any means the Gospel would be presented with power and clarity...
• for protection over our marriage and family.

Sheets?

Also, some have asked for us to mention any specific needs for the orphanage, so here's one that came up today... SHEETS. More specific--twin bed sheets and pillows. The cost for a set is around $12, and there is a need for at least 25 of them (approximately $300).
