We just wanted to write a little post about what's going on this summer. The 6 week A Vision For Life discipleship program has officially started! There are 21 of them ages 15-22. Most are from the States and a few of them are missionary kids. We are so excited to be a part of what Jesus wants to do in and through them!
During the six weeks they will attend Bible classes, serve around the conference center a bit, and go on various outreach trips throughout Hungary, Slovenia, Austria, and Romania.
Jude and I will be going on the camping trip to Slovenia and outreach to Austria.. Shaun will be traveling on all the trips with the guys. In Hungary they will be traveling and participating in english camps, going to a mental hospital, and VBS in a gypsy village. In Austria we will be going to Salzburg and will spend time with the believers there. And in Romania they will be visiting an abandon baby hospital, orphanage, and gypsy village to spend time with the kids.
This weekend they are traveling to Budapest to see the city, visit the Calvary Chapel, and learn a little bit about Hungary's history.
It's definitely a packed 6 weeks and so awesome at the same time!
Please pray for these guys:
-That through their time here Jesus would work in their hearts and that they would daily seek Him and His Word!
-For sweet unity and fellowship between them and us the leaders
-For safety and protection as we/they travel on the different trips
-When they leave here they would walk in the fullness God has for their lives!
-And that the Lord would use us, the staff and interns, to point them to Jesus
