This will be a short update about the end of the semester and prayer requests for Shaun's trip to Ethiopia!
Thank you so much for praying for the students' outreach trips. We heard so many awesome testimonies of God's faithfulness and how he used the students to point others to Himself!
We can't believe the semester is over already! Graduation was last night and we had 24 students who graduated either Bible College, the Missions Training Program, or the Internship Program. Many students will be serving this summer in places around the world, some will be heading to their home countries, and some will be staying here to serve as we turn the campus into a conference center for the next few months. It was truly an awesome semester with an awesome group of students and we, the staff, are excited to see how God will work in them and through them as they each take their next step of faith.

Shaun left for Ethiopia this morning and will be gone until the 31st. He and our friend Dave who is a missionary in Italy will be visiting our friends, Argaw & Rachel Ayele, in Hawassa, Ethiopia. Our friends run Ebenezer Grace Children's Home. You can visit their blog by going here http://ebenezergracechildrenshome.wordpress.com/. So many amazing stories of how God the Father is taking care of these kids who don't have earthly parents and how He's using Rachel & Argaw there! They have 14 kids at the children's home as well as 4 of their own and one more on the way! here is a little about the children's home:
Ebenezer Grace Children's Home is unique because we believe in raising children in a 'family' environment. These 14 children are brothers and sisters to one another. The women that care for them are their 'mamas'. Even the Ayeles are part of this big family at EGCH. They are not only provided a home, food, clothing, education, and a family atmosphere, but they are taught about how much Jesus loves them, more than any other human being possibly could.
Shaun and Dave will be doing some work at the Children's home, painting, etc.. and just getting to fellowship with Rachel and Argaw and all the kiddos! Here is a picture of the Ayele's. Please keep this family in your prayers!
Please pray for Shaun and Dave... for safe travels, good health while they are there, and that God would use them as He has planned! Also, please keep the kids in your prayers--that they would grow up knowing their heavenly Father, and that Rachel and Argaw would continue to be used to point these precious children to Jesus.
Thanks so much! We'll post an update when Shaun gets back...
