Sorry we haven't updated in a while! After we got back to Hungary from the States--it has been go, go, go,! We were so blessed to have been able to spend time with some of you during our time States-side. Thanks for all of your love!
Our time with the familia:
We had such a great time introducing Jude Henry to all our loved ones! He is definitely one spoiled, and very loved little guy. First, we went to Colorado to visit family, friends, and home church. Here are a few pics:
My sister's graduation party - Spending time with old friends from Hungary
Jude Henry swimming with his aunties - Montgomery family from Remedy Church
Jude's 1st baseball game - In Breckenridge with the Humphreys
...off to California to see more family and friends
Hanging out with Grandma and Uncle Michael - ...and Opa
More old friends from Hungary - 1st time at the beach!
Summer:
Right when we got back we jumped into conference season at the bible college. Our first conference of the season is the Calvary Chapel Eastern European Missionary Conference - Foundations. We were so blessed by the bible studies, worship, and fellowship.
Also last week started the A Vision For Life (AVFL) youth program. 24 teenagers - six weeks - to grow in Jesus! During the week they take bible classes and are part of different local outreaches. This weekend they went to Budapest to see the sights, learn some Hungarian history, and do some evangelistic skits/dramas. Next, they are off to Slovenia for camping, rafting, and hiking, and then will finish the week in Salzburg, Austria serving with the Calvary Chapel there. They will also do another outreach in Serbia, as well as several other day outreaches. We've been having a great time getting to know them and pray that they would be open to what Jesus wants to do in them and through them! Our heart is that they would leave this place having met with Jesus and be like the wise man in Matthew 7v24-29; hearers of Jesus, doers of His Word, & and firmly standing on Him.
Prayer Requests:
-For Jesus to touch each of the AVFL students and draw them closer to Himself
-For wisdom for Shaun and I, as we teach them and point them to Jesus
-Safety on all the trips
-That all of us at CCBCE would be unified and used for the glory of God
-For grace and love in our marriage, and wisdom as parents
We are so thankful to Jesus for all the love and blessings that have been poured out on us through each and everyone of you! Thanks for being a part of the journey.
All the Best in Jesus,
Shaun, Megan, & Jude
