Hi Everyone!
Time to update again:) This week, 2 years ago, Shaun and I got engaged. I can't believe it's been 2 years! Since then we got married, lived in Colorado, and have now moved back to where it all started... we never know where God is going to takes us, but we can know and trust that He does amazing things in our lives, all for His purpose and glory!
Since our last update, we went to Austria for our staff retreat. That was a great time of fellowship, fun, being refreshed, being renewed, and re-establishing His vision for this ministry. A lot of great truths were shared. And one thing that really stood out was John 15v4-5... "for without Me you can do nothing." I was reminded that we rely on Him and His Spirit, not on our own abilities. And the work we are doing here of discipleship and spreading the gospel is a work we do with Him, so all the glory remains His! God is so good to use us even in our weaknesses. And through that we demonstrate great faith in Him--faith that God is able to do great and mighty things!
Also, we've moved into our new house. It's such a blessing having a home here, a place where we can have people over and have sweet times of fellowship.
Now we are getting ready for Foundations Conference. It is a conference for missionaries who serve all over Europe to come and be refreshed. After that, the A Vision for Life (AVFL) youth discipleship program will begin. Shaun and I have the opportunity to lead this summer's program. So far there are about 21 young guys and girls who want to come and draw near to God and experience more of Him in their lives. We will be going on a few trips with them, Shaun and some of the pastors will be involved in teaching their classes, and I'll be teaching a Women's Discipleship class for the girls. We are so excited too see what God is going to do in their lives this summer, and are so blessed to be used as His instruments!
So please join us in praying for...
-safety for the AVFL girls and guys as they travel over here at the end of the month
-their hearts to be softened so they can receive all that God has for them
-all the staff here, for unity, reliance on God, and to be used as instruments of grace and love
-the summer of service team, that God would continue to refresh and renew them daily
-Shaun and I, for wisdom, grace in our marriage, continued unity with each other and with God, and sensitivity to God and what He wants to do with AVFL'ers this summer
Thank you all for being a part of what God is doing in us and through us... it's so awesome to have so many people who love and support what God wants to do!
Much Love,
Shaun and Megan
Hi guys! This was such a blessing! It brought me back to Hungary! I remember Shaun was the one who picked us up from the airport, and Megan, I loved when you taught our Women's Discipleship class! Thank you for the update! Maybe I'll come visit one day!
